Mrs. Mushroom’s Favorite Oyster Mushroom Recipe

Ingredients

  • Mrs. Mushroom’s Oyster Mushrooms

  • Flour

  • Vegan Butter and/or avocado oil

  • Salt & Pepper

Peel mushrooms by hand into bite-sized pieces, ensuring to peel or cut any thick stems. Dredge the mushrooms to coat them in flour. Heat oil, butter, or a combination of both in a skillet over medium heat. Spread the flour-coated mushrooms evenly throughout the pan and cook until the edges turn golden brown. Flip once, add salt (and optional garlic powder), and cook for an additional 2-4 minutes until crispy. Enjoy!

If you're not a fan of flour or pan-frying, there's another option. Simply boil the mushrooms in salted water or sauté them for 4-5 minutes. Add the mushrooms to your dish of choice, whether it's pasta, pizza, stir-fry, soup, burger, steak, and more. Oyster mushrooms are incredibly versatile and pair well with many other foods!

Either way, savor this nutritious and delicious home-grown dish, brought to you by yours truly, Mrs. Mushroom.
